The Flash Flood Watch continues for * Portions of Arkansas, southeast Oklahoma, and northeast Texas, including the following areas, in Arkansas, Columbia, Hempstead, Howard, Lafayette, Little River, Miller, Nevada, Sevier, and Union. In southeast Oklahoma, McCurtain. In northeast Texas, Bowie. * Through this evening * Scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms will continue to train across the same general area, bringing with it locally heavy rainfall and possible flash flooding. * Overnight through the predawn hours this morning, rainfall amounts have ranged from two to four inches with isolated higher amounts across portions of the Flash Flood Watch area. Additional rainfall amounts of near three to five inches will be possible through this afternoon. This amount of rainfall could quickly result in severe and even life threatening flooding.
